OYO Geospace has a line of Versatec-compatible, electrostatic replacementplotters. The full product line includes a 12-inch model, 24-inch model,and 36-inch model. The direct thermal plotting technology isenvironmentally safe and less expensive to operate, as virtually nomaintenance and associated downtime is required.By using a continuous head and 16-level gray shade control, the OYOplotters can reproduce near-photorealistic images. The high quality,throughput, and reliability is ideal for rendering applications such asmultimedia, 3-D modeling, and diazo reproduction.The remote control features, and the built-in automatic cutter,facilitate unattended operations in networked environments or in highvolume plotting applications. OYO's plotters work with a variety ofarchivable thermal media, including checkplot paper, final-output paper,opaque film, and matte film.The family works with a Versatec "Green Sheet" parallel interface card,or can be driven directly through a SCSI port.
